FAMCO's Vision - A coalition of religious and secular organizations working together to imporve the quality of life in the Aiken area by assisting the family in the areas of marriage preparation, enhancement, restoration, and recovery.
Many people in the Aiken area come from and perhaps live in a home or family that is hurting. Many local organizations, churches, and community leaders are working to alleviate the hurting conditions.
FAMCO is working with the community to get at the root cause of the hurting family. FAMCO helps your marriage succeed, thus eliminating the source of the hurts.
FAMCO knows that preventing the hurt is much better than trying to fix the hurt.


	Did You Know?

	More than half of all marriages in the United States end in divorce. Cohabitation before marriage raises the failure rate to 3 out of every 4 marriages. Almost half of all babies born in Aiken County are born to single mothers. Almost one third of all children in Aiken County live in single parent families. More that 4 out of 5 delinquent teenagers live in a family where the parent(s) are hurting. The Aiken area wants families to succeed. FAMCO is working toward this goal by encouraging the community to sign the Aiken Community Marriage Agreement and by providing appropriate family and marriage resources.
